Temperature controllers MV DC

Direct cooling temperature controllers are designed to control process fluids automatically and keep them at the required temperatures. The following range is designed for direct cooling by means of cooling water mixed with the process water.
It gives a great advantage against indirect cooling temperature controllers because the process temperature may be a little higher or even equivalent to the cooling temperature with a large amount of heat transfer.
The main cooling circuit has to be a closed loop circuit.

MV, DC series temperature controllers:

The two ranges include several models equipped with heating elements according to the specific needs or without them. Temperature range: up to 50°C (machines without heaters) and up to 90°C (machines equipped with heating elements).
Several MV or DC units connected to the main chiller can be installed next to the processing machines in order to obtain different temperature settings and both different pressure and flow for each user.

Main specifications:

  • Direct cooling through a solenoid valve (for DC units);
  • Modulating 3 way valve (for MV units) providing high temperature accuracy;
  • Heaters from 3 to 24 kW;
  • Temperature range: up to 50°C (machines without heaters) and up to 90°C (machines equipped with heating elements);
  • Stainless steel pump;
  • New electronic control panel:
  • High temperature control accuracy of ± 0.5°C due to the microprocessor based control with double PID algorithm;
  • Easy operation of the electronic control fitted with self-diagnosis and self-tuning of the PID parameters;
  • User friendly control interface including alarm display;
  • Safety thermostat;
  • Low noise level - below 70 dB (A);
  • 400V/3 ph./ 50Hz (60Hz) power supply;
  • 24V auxiliary circuit;
  • CE standard conformity components and assembly.
